Sunnydale Village
Sunnydale VIllage was the first sanctioned and supervised homeless encampment in Burien. Founded in November of 2023, Sunnydale Village served as a safe place for our unhoused neighbors to live, access basic essentials such as food, clothing, tents, blankets, and connect with service providers for case management. Sunnydale Village relied on volunteers and donations from our community to provide these resources.
Sunnydale Village is looking now closed while we look for a new home
Sunnydale Village operated behind Oasis Home Church in Burien from November 2023 - February 2024. We are now looking for a new location to host us. We need 7,000 square feet or more of relatively flat land, near transit (preferably within half a mile). Camps like ours usually reside on church property, but any private property can work! Private property owners that lease to us can receive a tax deduction through our 501c3 status. Please reach out if you or someone you know is interested in hosting!
Financial contributions allow us to pay for essential needs including food, tents, sleeping bags, and other supplie. Donations can be made at our Paypal donate link below, or checks can be made out to the Burien Community Support Coalition and mailed to:
